Gabriel Andronache was elected president of the Transelectrica Directorate on Monday for a period of another four months, starting from December 25, the company informs through a statement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

“In accordance with the provisions of art. 23 paragraph (1) of the Constitutive Act of the Transelectrica National Electric Energy Transport Company-SA, the Supervisory Board elects Mr. Gabriel Andronache as President of the Directorate, alternatively named Executive General Director or Chief Executive Officer – “CEO” of the National Electric Energy Transport Company “Transelectrica”. The mandate of the members of the Directorate has a duration of 4 months starting on December 25, 2022 with the possibility of extension, for valid reasons, for another two months, but the duration of the mandate will not exceed the date of completion of the selection procedure of the members of the directorate of the National Electric Energy Transport Company Transelectrica under the conditions of GEO no. 109/2011, if the procedure will be completed within this interval,” the document quoted by Agerpres states.

At the same time, in Monday’s meeting of the Supervisory Board, Gabriel Andronache, Ştefăniță Munteanu, Cătălin Constantin Nadolu, Florin Cristian Tătaru and Bogdan Toncescu were appointed as provisional members of the Directorate, also for a period of 4 months, under the conditions in which their mandates expired on December 24.
