The installation program of the prosumer PV panels will be launched near May 1, with the allocated budget being of 130 million euro, Environment Minister Gratiela Gavrilescu said.
„Close May 1 we will launch the program to install photovoltaic PVs for households. We have a budget worth 130 million euro, we already have the financing guide finalized and we have partnered with the Ministry of Development. We want as many Romanians possible to install these photovoltaic cells, because we have 3 kilowatts of installed power, that means you can assure the consumption of equipment in your own household,” Agerpres quoted the Environment Minister as saying.
Regarding the „Centennial of Light”, with a budget of 220 million lei, Gavrilescu said it will start also around the 1st of May, as it have already identified „areas where there is no electricity in households.”
