The evaluation process of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) involves multiple requests for clarification, to which “we respond in writing or in teleconferences”, says the Minister of Investments and European Projects, Cristian Ghinea, emphasizing that this is a normal work process and is part of the evaluation and negotiation process.
“The PNRR evaluation process involves multiple requests for clarification, which we respond to in writing or in teleconferences (they have been daily in recent weeks). It is a normal work process and part of the evaluation- negotiation process,” Cristian Ghinea said in a release of the Ministry of European Investments and Projects (MIPE), in response to some accusations made by the opposition.
He specified that, as the calendar announced, Romania’s Plan is in the process of evaluation and detailing where necessary, a stage that will be completed in July, according to Agerpres.
“At the beginning of September we will work with the Commission on delegated implementing acts. It is also stupid the statement that it will be the last plan approved, no way, it will be a tranche of states in September, it is not a speed contest and as well said President Iohannis, it is good to detail everything now so that the implementation goes well. The big stakes of PNRR – very high allocations for highways, for education, for hospitals, for forests, for the business environment are solved. We tell the people clearly: we need patience and decency, in order to clarify all the technical aspects. We have before us the country project of Romania,” the minister added.
He says it is a joint effort of MIPE and the Commission, “something common to all Member States”.
