“We received an address from the National Energy Regulatory Authority, an address through which we are informed that the mandates of the management of this institution are expiring. We are talking about October 23. According to this address, the positions of president, vice president and two member positions in the Regulatory Committee of the National Energy Regulatory Authority are vacant, as a result of the expiration of the five-year mandates that were granted in 2017. mandates, through a decision of the assembled plenary”, said Alina Gorgiu, according to Agerpres.

“As such, in a very short time, there will be a permanent meeting that will trigger the procedure by which the future people will be selected, I hope, much better prepared, more articulate, more professional than what we have had so far at the ANRE management, so that we are also with the regulatory authority at the height of the problems that the energy sector raises in this period,” added Gorghiu, after the meeting of the Permanent Bureau.
