The government will approve an Emergency Ordinance on Friday, which will bring some necessary changes to implement the budget correction, the Minister of Finance, Florin Cîţu, said on Thursday.
He attended the opening of the trading session of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and was asked by journalists which ministries will receive more money for rectification, according to Agerpres.
“Tomorrow there will be a Government meeting, an emergency ordinance that modifies what is needed to implement this budget rectification,” the minister said.
“In tomorrow’s government meeting, I think we will approve a bill that introduces bonuses for companies’ shareholders – to recapitalize their companies. You know very well that in Romania today there are hundreds of thousands of companies with negative capital. We are creating a long-term system of 5 years of bonuses. It is important for the health of the economy – that is why we created this program, to have companies with positive capital, healthy companies and another trust,” said Cîțu, quoted by TVR.
