The High Court of Cassation and Justice (ÎCCJ) decided, in the meeting of December 13, to take note of the renunciation of the judgment of the company Dhelectric System SRL, which means that the Green Photovoltaic House program can be resumed, informs the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests.
The Green House (Casa Verde) Photovoltaic program was suspended by a court decision, in September, as a result of the legal action of this company, which contested its rejection in the first session of validating the installers. At the initiative of the Minister of the Environment, Mircea Fechet, a mediation meeting between the parties was organized in November at the MMAP headquarters, during which the company undertook to give up the process, in case a new validation session will be organized of installers. Later, with the opening of a new session, the company in question submitted to the ÎCCJ and the Oradea Court of Appeal, respectively, the requests to abandon the lawsuit filed by the AFM, according to Agerpres.
“I thank the magistrates for understanding to deal with the case expeditiously and bringing the 90,000 beneficiaries, just before Christmas, good and long-awaited news. As you know, in order to unlock the program, we decided not to wait for the court’s decision, which could have maintained the deadlock until the middle of next year, or even longer. Instead, we launched a new installer validation session, which allowed both the company that opened the process and other potential installers to sign up again in the program. This decision led to the unlocking. AFM is in the final stages of evaluating the 93 new installers who submitted their files. I want to see the first panels installed by the end of the year. Thus, by installing the 90,000 systems in the current edition, plus at least as much from next year’s edition, 2024 has every chance to become the year of a true green energy revolution for Romanians’ homes”, declared Minister Mircea Fechet.
