The new CEO of Electroprecizia, Pritha Harasgama, wants to double the company’s business in the next four years. He led energy companies before, such as ABB or Alstom Power Switzerland Global Projects, according to Bursa. Harasgama also worked in the aerospace department of the Ministry of Defense in the UK, at the time building with Rolls Royce the jet engine development program and new products and services to civil and military aerospace sector.
“I have a mandate for four years. I want to bring the company from 22 million euros in annual revenue to over 50 million euros in 2018. This is my target”, said Pritha Harasgama.
He came at Electroprecizia for first time in 2010, along with colleagues from Deloitte, to work on a development strategy for the company. “EP is an interesting company with great potential”, explained Harasgama his choice to become the top manager of this Săcele-based company.
This year the investment plan of the company is 4.4 million euro, up from previous years. For 2015, the company expects a business growth by 11%, from 88.37 million lei to 98.14 million lei. The company’s profit would increase, according to budget projections made by the new team of managers, by a third, from 3.62 million lei to 4.82 million lei.
Moreover, the company says it will develop in the coming years an industrial park, for which is trying to attract companies with electro technical profile, complementary to Electroprecizia activity. “We want in the future to work with these companies, and even to conclude joint ventures with them. We already have discussions with 11 companies from the UK, Switzerland and Germany in this respect. It is important that they are receptive and interested in working with us from the first moment”, said Harasgama.
