Hidroelectrica allocates 95 million lei, excluding VAT, for the development of the Pașcani Hydropower Plant, on the Siret River, the contract to be concluded for a period of 120 months, according to a tender notice posted in the Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP).
“The object of the contract is the acquisition and installation of hydromechanical equipment that will equip the 4 openings of the spillway dam, this involves the provision of design services, the execution of construction works, as well as the manufacture/procurement of hydromechanical equipment in strict accordance with the “Technical and economic documentation for the acquisition and installation of dam equipment”, it is mentioned in the notice quoted by Agerpres.
At the same time, the purpose of the procurement is to conclude a “turnkey” contract for the execution, assembly and commissioning of the equipment and installations provided for the equipment of the spillway dam within the Pașcani hydropower development, according to the activities established in the documentation “AHE Pașcani on the Siret River”.
Bidders must prove that the average global turnover, recorded in the last three completed financial years, respectively 2021, 2022 and 2023, was at least 50 million lei, excluding VAT.
According to the announcement, the contract will be awarded through open tender, based on the criterion of the best quality-price ratio, and the deadline for receiving offers or requests to participate is June 2, 2025, 3:00 p.m.
Hidroelectrica is the largest green energy producer in Romania and provides essential technological services for the National Energy System.
The company operates 188 power plants with a hydropower capacity of 6.4 GW and owns a wind farm at Crucea, with an installed capacity of 108 MW, the power plant having been in operation since 2014.
