Hidroelectrica, the largest electricity producer in Romania, intends to purchase a wind farm, Crucea Wind Farm, owned by a German company in Dobrogea, according to e-nergia.ro.
Hidroelectrica launched in the Electronic Public Procurement System an announcement regarding the acquisition of “Specialized consulting services, due diligence assistance, evaluation and intermediation of mergers and acquisitions within the sale process of Crucea Wind Farm.”
Hidroelectrica estimates that it will pay 280,000 euro for these services.
Crucea Wind Farm is the company that owns the Crucea Nord Wind Power Plant of 108 MW, located in the vicinity of Crucea, Vulturu and Pantelimon communes in Constanţa County. STEAG Energie Romania is the company that provides technical and commercial operation services for Crucea Wind Farm. Both companies are members of the STEAG GmbH group in Germany.
