Hidroelectrica, the largest electricity producer in the country, has included in the budget for this year, in the chapter “investments” also the achievement of a “R&D center for renewable energies”.
Thus, the company’s budget for 2020 will include “the creation of a Research and Development Center at the level of Hidroelectrica, which will operate based on attracting the most qualified specialists, teachers, experts with results and concerns in the field, from Romania and from abroad, for each project identified to be of interest to Hidroelectrica. The project also involves the creation of a laboratory with simulators dedicated to training employees in the areas of interest,” according to a company document quoted by e-nergia.ro.
The budget is expected to be approved by shareholders next month.
