The Hunedoara Court rejected on Tuesday, February 7th, the application for entry into insolvency of Complexul Energetic Hunedoara (CEH), actually submitted by the company and has spplited in a different file, the opening of the insolvency proceedings at the request of creditors, according to News.ro.
Thus, the Hunedoara Court spokesman, Ildiko Glăman, said on Tuesday that the judges rejected the request made by Complexul Energetic Hunedoara to enter into insolvency, according to the quoted source.
“The file had as object the opening of the insolvency proceedings at the request of Complexul Energetic Hunedoara. This case was solved, it was rejected. In addition, the applications for opening of insolvency proceedings at the request of creditors were disjoined in another file which is due on March 8th”, said Ildiko Glăman, the Hunedoara Court spokesman.
The decision regarding the insolvency of CEH is not final, it can be appealed within seven days from notification, at the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal.
Complexul Energetic Hunedoara has about 6.000 employees who work in the coal mines from Lupeni, Lonea, Livezeni and Vulcan and at the Mintia and Paroşeni thermal power plants.
