Ionuț Farcaș takes over as President of Central & Eastern Europe at Schneider Electric

Schneider Electric announces the appointment of Ionuț Farcaș as President of the Central and Eastern Europe Zone. “Romania remains a dynamic market of great importance in our company’s global strategy,” says Ionuț Farcaș.

He joined Schneider Electric in 2014 as Vice President of the Energy Division in Romania, bringing with him valuable experience in the same sector both from Romania and other European countries. Since then, he has held several management positions, including Country General Manager for Bulgaria, Albania, Northern Macedonia and Kosovo, and later as Senior Vice President for the Power Products division, responsible for Europe and international markets.

Lucian Enaru, Country Manager of Schneider Electric Romania, Armenia and Moldova, welcomes the appointment of Ionuț Farcaș as leader of the CEE Zone: “We are glad to have a leader who knows the Romanian market and organisation closely, as this is the subsidiary where he started his journey in Schneider Electric. The region we are part of is complex and offering, and Ionuț’s vast international experience will help us to make the most of all available opportunities”, also emphasises Lucian Enaru.
