Jantzen Renewables appoints Răzvan Popa as CEO

Jantzen Renewables announces the appointment of Răzvan Popa as CEO. Before assuming the role of CEO, Razvan Popa served as Partner and Transactional Practice Area Coordinator at Jantzen Renewables. Răzvan played a key role in securing key partnerships and advancing the company’s position in the renewable energy market. Leadership was instrumental in the development and sale of the Helios 1 PV cluster, one of the largest solar power projects in Southeast Europe with a capacity of 710 Megawatt DC.

Răzvan’s expertise covers strategic transactions, project development and partnership promotion. As CEO, he is poised to lead the company into a new era of growth and innovation in clean energy solutions.

“I am honored to take on this role and excited to lead Jantzen Renewables at such a transformative time for the industry,” said Răzvan Popa. “We are committed to expanding our renewable energy footprint and contributing to global sustainability efforts with a focus on providing industrial-scale solutions.”

Under Răzvan’s leadership, Jantzen Renewables aims to focus on various technologies such as photovoltaics, batteries, wind and Power-To-X, and also strengthen its commitment to environmental sustainability and energy independence.

Established in 2020, Jantzen Renewables spun off from Jantzen Development. The core team has over 15 years of experience in project development in Romania. Jantzen Renewables has quickly established itself as a major player in the renewable energy ecosystem. Currently, the company is developing a network of active projects totaling over 2GW of renewable energy in Romania.
