The general manager of Oltenia Energy Complex (CEO), Klaus Leiders, has resigned, just two weeks after taking office.
According to local media, Leiders says that at CE Oltenia there is a classic conflict of interest. However, Leiders wants to stay close to CE Oltenia, maybe as a consultant.
“The information that I have submitted my resignation is true. I came CE Oltenia management team because I like change and with the belief that they can help the company return to a profitable line,” said Leiders for Pandurul.
He said he was returning to London to get involved in private projects.
“In the CE Oltenia there is a classic conflict of interest and I had to take this decision to pursue my private project. But I firmly believe that CE Oltenia’s fate can be changed in a positive way if all parties act in the same direction. For this reason I have told the CS (n.r. Supervisory Board) that I want to remain involved in the company’s leadership, in a position or another, as a consultant or whatever other form is decided. CE Oltenia employees’ future is very important and I hope that constructive solutions will be found soon,” said also the CEO former director.
