KMG International, through the subsidiary Rompetrol Moldova, completed the modernization works of the most modern distribution station in the network, in Chișinău, announced the oil group. Beside this station, another 5 new stations were opened in 2015, thus the company operates a network of 65 distribution points with 25 shops.

The renovation works envisaged the exterior and the interior of the station as well as the entire station infrastructure from underground tanks to fuel distribution pumps.

The station has a new shop, built according to the latest concept. It includes a terrace and a coffee-shop where clients have free Wi-Fi access and it also has facilities for people with disabilities. The station sells quality fuels produced by Petromidia (Efix, EfixS, Premium 95 gasoline, Diesel Euro 5, LPG). As a result of commissioning the 5 stations, 50 jobs were created.

Rompetrol Moldova has the best coverage in Chișinău. Half of Rompetrol stations are located in the capital city, the company being a leader compared to other important operators on the fuel market of the Republic of Moldova.

Besides the distribution stations, 4 of which sell exclusively LPG, the company owns a fuel depot in Chișinău, an LPG depot in Târnova, Dondușeni district and 20 shops within the stations.

Rompetrol Moldova has set the goal to extend the station network in 2016 and modernize the existing ones, including opening shops in the stations that would allow to consolidate the position on the market of the Republic of Moldova.

Rompetrol Moldova is present on the local market since 2002 and has over 600 employees. It is the first oil company from the Republic of Moldova. It is the first oil company from the Republic of Moldova that operates in accordance with international ISO standards. The company obtained the quality management, environmental and occupational health certification in 2002.
