LONGi Solar, the largest manufacturer of solar panels in the world, opens its office in Bucharest and has recruited Mirel Jarnea, an expert in sustainable technologies and energy efficiency solutions for businesses, to the management team within the Southern and Eastern Europe region. Jarnea will take over the position of Business Development Manager negotiating regional sales for the largest manufacturer of solar panels globally, according to e-nergia.ro.

Over the past four years, the Chinese company LONGi Solar has greatly increased its presence in Europe and established a solid team across the continent. The company expects its sales to increase in the context of the European Union’s RE-Power Europe plan.

Mirel Jarnea will capitalize on his significant experience in the field of sustainable and intelligent technologies at LONGi Solar. At Enel X, as a member of the electrification and transition to sustainable technologies group, Jarnea has led the e-Industries segment since the beginning of 2018. Before Enel X, for 11 years, the expert held positions of management and sales in some of the world’s leading lighting technology companies.
