The local office of the Japanese group Makita, manufacturer of power tools, received a substantial new transfer, of over 94 million lei, in the form of a capital increase, after the summer of last year, when it was the subject of the largest capital subscription made by a foreign investor, in June. The company then built a new production line in Ilfov County. As a result of this increase, the company’s share capital rose from 638.2 million lei to 732.9 million lei, according to profit.ro.
The company owns a factory in Brănești, Ilfov county, and in May of last year began the construction of a new production capacity, an investment of 50 million euros. Makita produces 350,000 electric tools a month in Romania.
