Digitalization is an essential component of the energy sector and the Valachia Energy Hub project is one of the digital innovation hubs in the South Muntenia region, joining 10 other similar projects in Romania, said Manuela Drăghicescu, director of the PETAL Digital and Smart Hub Technology Transfer Centre.
“By the middle of next year, we aim to develop innovation hubs in every county, establishing strong partnerships with local municipalities and companies. We understand that what everyone is looking for is concrete solutions, not just advice. That’s why we are focusing on preparing companies and public administrations for the digital challenges ahead, but not all of them currently have the skilled staff needed at the moment,” she said at the DigitALL 2024 conference organized by Energynomics.
The Regional Innovation and Digitisation Centre aims to drive a digital transformation process in the South-Muntenia and Bucharest-Ilfov region and to simplify access to digital solutions and integrated services for SMEs and public institutions, thus contributing to a green, sustainable and efficient digitisation.
The Centre provides digital solutions and services that address today’s business needs and challenges, with a focus on interoperability and digital skills development.
DigitALL 2024 was organized by Energynomics, in partnership with reputed organizations such as the CIO Council, with the support of our partners: Corning, Datacor, Eaton Electric, Enevo Group, Procesio, Siemens, Sixt, Vertiv.
