Mariana Gheorghe dropped out office as OMV Petrom Chairman and CEO. She will be replaced by Christina Verchere, no later than May 21, 2018, until April 16, 2019, when Mariana Gheorghe’s term was to end.

Christina Verchere began her career in 1993, after completing her studies in Economics at Aberdeen University, Scotland, and worked for over 20 years for BP, one of the largest oil and gas companies, where she held many leading positions in Great Britain, USA and Canada. Starting in 2014, he served as Regional President for Asia Pacific in Jakarta, Indonesia.
