Shareholders of Fondul Proprietatea have decided to appoint former United States Ambassador to Romania Mark Henry Gitenstein as a member of the Shareholders’ Representative Committee for a period of three years, following the expiration of his current term, says a report sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). On September 4, the Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Proprietatea Fund was held, the meeting being chaired by Johan Meyer, as permanent representative of Franklin Templeton International Services, the sole administrator of the FP.

”Following this meeting, the shareholders of the Fund decided the following: the appointment of Mark Henry Gitenstein as a member of the Committee of Representatives, following the expiration of his current term. The mandate is valid for a period of three years and will take effect from September 29, 2019, subject to the acceptance of the mandate by the newly appointed member,” informs FP.

Mark H. Gitenstein was Ambassador of the United States of America to Romania from 2009 until December 14, 2012, according to News.ro.
