MET Group, an integrated European energy company announces its entry into the French market through its Lyon-based subsidiary MET France. Antargaz has entrusted MET with the takeover of its portfolio of electricity and natural gas customers from October 1, 2023.

With subsidiaries in 14 European countries and trading activities in 30 national gas markets, MET Group continues to expand its presence in Europe with the official launch of its French subsidiary, MET France.

MET’s disruptive strategy, which will allow customers to take control of their energy budget through optimized management tools, will be led by the newly appointed CEO of MET France, Giovanni Caporale.

We are bringing more competition to the French market, enabling customers to take advantage of tailor-made offers,” said Benjamin Lakatos, Chairman and CEO of MET Group.
