The emergency certificate issued by the Ministry of Economy will be required for companies starting with April 2020, because the state of emergency was decreed in March, the Minister of Economy, Energy and Business, Virgil Popescu, said in a Thursday post.
„Very important to know: the certificate of state of emergency will be required from April 2020, as the state of emergency was decreed in March. Yes, we do everything possible to adapt to the challenges that this crisis brings us, as the economy has to go forward,“ noted Virgil Popescu.
The Minister of Economy has shown that the order establishing the details for obtaining the emergency certificate is nearing completion, and the document can be obtained online, according to Agerpres.
„Because we have received many questions regarding the certificate of emergency, I want to announce that we are close to finalizing the order in which we establish the details by which this document can be obtained. We want the procedure to be simplified and obtainable online, in a transparent and efficient way,“ wrote Virgil Popescu.
Companies affected by the economic crisis can request the emergency certificate from the Ministry of Economy, and based on the document the Government has committed to support the compensation for the employees sent in technical unemployment. Also, companies affected by the economic crisis can receive, based on the emergency certificate, exemptions from the payment of utilities or rent.
