Romania has, on November 1, 2.963 billion cubic meters of natural gas in storage, which represents a ratio of 96.52%, announced the Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu.
“Today, November 1, we have 96.52% of natural gas in storage – 2,963.3 million cubic meters. We will not have problems with gas this winter. The population and the economy will not suffer,” the minister wrote on Tuesday on his Facebook page.
The minimum threshold approved for Romania in the new regulation of the European Commission, of 80%, was reached on September 17.
However, Romania can help the Republic of Moldova in case of emergency, and reserves will be used for this.
