Mircea Abrudean, Deputy Secretary General of the Government and Laura Dragotă were proposed in the board of Transgaz, according to sources quoted by financialintelligence.ro.
In February, the Liberal from Cluj, Mircea Abrudean, was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Government, with the rank of Secretary of State, by a decision of Prime Minister Florin Cîţu.
Mircea Abrudean was prefect of Cluj from 2019 until 2021.
Another name proposed by SGG is Laura Raluca Alina Dragotă who is the Deputy General Manager – General Directorate of Public Policy, Strategies and Internal Managerial Control within SGG. He was a cabinet director and personal adviser to the cabinet secretary of state in the Ministry of Finance.
At the beginning of April, the Romanian state, the majority shareholder of Transgaz, announced that it wants to appoint two temporary members, for four months, to the Board of Directors.
