The management of Schneider Electric for Romania and the Republic of Moldova was handed over to Marius Perşinaru, filling the vacated position left by Florentina Totth, who was promoted to the position of Vice President for Segment and Strategic Clients for the European operations of Schneider Electric, announces a release of the energy management and automation company.
Marius Perşinaru (in photo) joins the Schneider Electric team after a 17 years career at Xerox, during which he held several management positions both nationally and internationally.

Marius Perşinaru Romania joined Xerox in 1998 as Director of Logistics and Operations, was appointed Country President for Romania and the Republic of Moldova in 2004. This was followed by regional positions of Vice President for the eastern operations of Xerox group (2009-2010), Vice President for building indirect channels in developing countries (2011-2012) and Chief Commercial Officer, GM Technology & Services for Central and Eastern Europe, Israel and Turkey (2012-2014).
Also, Marius Perşinaru was chosen by Xerox group to lead the group subsidiaries in other countries – Country General Manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia (2013-2014) and Country General Manager for Hungary (2014-2015). Previously to the Xerox group, Marius Perşinaru was an engineer at Energomontaj (1988-1991) and Director of Logistics at Arexim (1991-1998). He graduated the Faculty of Hydropower Engineering in the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest.
Florentina Totth will manage the European strategic customers
In her new position, Florentina Totth (in photo) will help increase the business profitability of Schneider Electric in Europe by managing strategic clients of the company, by developing long term partnerships that will help provide the most appropriate solutions and to reach the commercial and financial objectives of the group, notifies Schneider Electric.
Also, Florentina Totth will play an important role in developing and executing the strategy for customer segments selected by the group and for implementing the company’s expertise across Europe. In the new role, Florentina Totth will work in Barcelona and report to Leonid Mukhamedov, Schneider Electric Executive Vice President for Europe, according to the company release.
“Two years ago, I was beginning full of enthusiasm and excitement the mandate of Country President. During this period, I learned something new every day, also from the extraordinary team of Romania and from our customers. We grew up together and we got along great results, which recommended me for a global role within the group, passing thus to the next level in my career. My appointment to this International position, along with a record number of more than 10 promotions of colleagues from the local organization, in regional or global roles, is evidence, on the one hand, of the development opportunities offered by Schneider Electric and, the other hand, the fact that Romania has become an important pool of professionals valuable for the group”, said Florentina Totth.
With an experience of over 12 years in the industry of IT & C and with extensive expertise in sales, marketing and general management, Florentina Totth is part of the management of Schneider Electric Romania since 2010, during which time she successfully managed several divisions of the company: IT, Power Solutions, Buildings, Energy and Services.
Răzvan Copoiu becomes the Vice President for the industry segment of South – East Europe
Răzvan Copoiu (in photo), Vice President of the Industry Division of Schneider Electric for Romania and the Republic of Moldova, was appointed in late February to the position of Vice President of Industry for Southeast Europe (SEE).
“In his new position, Răzvan Copoiu coordinates Schneider Electric Group’s strategy for marketing of products and solutions dedicated to the industrial sector in the region”, specifies a document published by the company.
Răzvan Copoiu has over 16 years of experience in the fields of energy and industry and is part of Schneider Electric team for five years, during which he led the company’s Industry Division. He will continue to operate in Bucharest and report directly to the SEE President, Philippe Sauer.
