In the last two years, ANRE has sent about 97 information reports to decision-makers regarding the evolution of the electricity and gas market, said Zoltan Bege Nagy, ANRE’s vice president, at Digi 24.
“I hope that they will be able to help the decision-makers regarding the measures to be taken in the near future in the energy market”, he declared.
Regarding the PSD president’s statement regarding the “underground games of the energy market” and the “new smart guys”, Nagy said: “In general, any wholesale market is based on speculation. Whether we are talking about the energy market or the stock market, everyone relies on speculation, they want to win. It is very difficult to say what Marcel Ciolacu was referring to and I don’t even want to comment. Our role is different. We provided information in that report sent to the prime minister, through which we inform about the evolution of the energy and gas market this year,” quotes financialintelligence.ro.
“There is various information about transactions on the wholesale electricity and gas markets. There is information on the degree of contact of the suppliers who serve final customers, including those who benefit from capping measures, there is information on the import and export of energy, the gas stock situation, the allocation of gas for suppliers and final consumers, as stipulated ordinance 27. I provided them with information regarding the checks and validations made by ANRE. I hope that this information will be able to help the decision-makers regarding the measures to be taken in the near future,” he added.
“I had the curiosity to make an inventory of the communications from 2020-2022, to the prime minister, the ministry of energy, the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, the president of the specialized commission. We have reached 97. In the last 2 and a half years we have sent 97 information on the evolution of the electricity and gas market. We work institutionally. We don’t make comments and we don’t publish various information in the press, because it’s not relevant. This information needs to reach decision makers, people who have the power to make decisions about changes if they are needed. We have done this and we will continue to do it. ANRE did its job,” concluded the vice-president of ANRE.
