Bogdan Dobre took office as CEO Holcim Romania & Market Head Moldova since 1 January 2021, the company announced in a press release. He will replace Horia Adrian, who has run the local operations over the last three years
With over 20 years of experience in management positions, Bogdan Dobre has been with Holcim Romania since 2000, and one of the company’s first employees. Throughout this time, he served functions such as Chief Commercial Officer (2013-2020), Director of Concrete and Aggregates Division (2011-2013), National Manager for Cement Sales (2002-2011), and made a decisive contribution to the company’s results, as well as to the development of new opportunities for growth and innovation of Holcim’s business in Romania.
The strategy it proposed and implemented has enabled the creation of strong and lasting partnerships between Holcim and its clients.

Holcim (Romania) S.A. has been active in the construction materials sector in Romania for more than 20 years. The company owns 2 cement factories in Campulung and Alesd, a milling station, 18 ecological concrete stations, 3 aggregates stations, 2 special binder stations and 3 cement terminals in Bucharest, Turda and Roman. Holcim employs about 800 people in Romania.
