In Germany, the base price for Renault ZOE, 100% electric, is 16,500 euro, by the end of June. This corresponds to a reduction in the list price of 5,000 euros. However, in addition there’s a monthly rental cost of the battery of at least 49 euro, according to Die Welt.
The Zoe compact car, with five doors and four seats, recorded nearly 1,500 calls last year and finished the year in third place in the list of best selling electric passenger car top in Germany, behind the BMW i3 and Smart Fortwo ED.
Renault ZOE is also available in Romania priced from 16,855 euro, excluding VAT, plus the cost of renting the battery, the French manufacturer announced. The car can be fully charged in 30 minutes with an action area ranging between 100 km and 150 km, depending on driving style and weather conditions.
The price for renting the battery starts at 79 euro/month. In Romania, Renault ZOE is available in two versions: ZEN and LIFE. List prices start at 16,855 euro, excluding VAT, for this version and 17,742 euro for ZEN LIFE, plus the monthly rental cost of the battery.
