The General Mayor of the Capital, Nicusor Dan, announced that he signed the financing contract for the purchase of 22 new trolleybuses, with extended autonomy, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
“It is about a project with a value of 55 million lei (without VAT), financed by PNRR, a program managed by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration. The new means of transport are added to another 100 trolleybuses for which we have already signed the contract purchase, the necessary sums coming from the Environmental Fund. We will continue to take all the necessary steps to renew the car park of the Bucharest Transport Company so that public transport becomes as attractive as possible for the citizens of Bucharest,” wrote the general mayor, on Tuesday evening, on his Facebook page, according to Agerpres.
In November 2022, Nicusor Dan announced that the project for the purchase of 22 new trolleybuses was approved by the Ministry of Development.
