Bucharest City Hall mayor Nicuşor Dan announced that three offers have been submitted for the purchase of the 20 modular thermal power plants, which will be located in areas where the heating agent is not supplied in sufficient parameters and their analysis will follow as soon as possible, according to News.ro.

“We have 3 bids submitted in the procurement procedure for the 20 mini thermal power plants that will be located in areas where the thermal agent is not delivered in sufficient parameters,” announced the general mayor of the Capital.

He specifies that the stage of analysis of the offers follows, so that Compania Municipală Energetica Servicii can designate the winner as soon as possible.

“Through the acquisition of the 20 modular capacities, we will ensure, starting from the next cold season, the optimal supply of heating agent and hot water for 340 blocks with over 16,300 apartments and approximately 40,000 tenants from all 6 sectors,” also added the general mayor.

Nicușor Dan explained that the plants will be located in certain thermal points, located at the ends of the network where the operation was deficient and where the thermal agent was delivered in insufficient parameters.

“We are talking about four thermal points in sector 1, six in sector 2, three other thermal points in sector 3, one in sector 4, three in sector 5 and another three in sector 6,” the City Hall mayor also said.
