Nobel Oil launches its gas station network in Romania

Nobel Oil from Azerbaijan makes its way on the market in Romania and the company will open its first petrol station in Iași. John Long, who helped expand in the Romanian market big companies like Shell, Lukoil and Rompetrol, was recruited by Azerbaijanis. His mission is to develop the first network of Nobel Oil petrol stations, according to economica.net.

Six months ago, John Long said that, for starters, he is looking for locations in big cities such as Iași and Bucharest. Representatives of the company have confirmed for economica.net that the first station will be open in Iași, most likely at the end of this year. With business in the US and Azerbaijan, Romania is the first market where Nobel Oil will sell petrol and diesel.

The company has a building permit for a gas station on Nicolae Iorga Boulevard in Iași, valid until November this year. A user of a constructions forum published photos with progress of work.

Michael wring, who worked for a short period in Rompetrol, is CEO of Nobel Oil, Nobel Oil, company founded in 2005. Nobel Oil Downstream Romania was established last year and will operate the petrol stations owned by Nobel Oil on the local market. Nobel Oil has activities in oil exploration and production, refining and sale of refined products.

Last year 52 new fuel distribution stations were opened, according to a report by OMV Petrom, the largest player on the oil market in Romania.
