Nuclearelectrica convened the general meeting of shareholders for April 27.
In the convening act, the company proposes to approve the financial results for the year 2019, which include granting a gross dividend of 498.4 million lei, respectively 1.65 lei per share, is shown in a report submitted to the BSE.
At the same time, the company announced that it has completed the process of implementing the ISO 37001/2016-Anti-bribery management system. SNN started the process of obtaining the ISO standard about 2 years ago. This ISO Standard provides the appropriate requirements and guidance for organizations so that they are able to establish, implement, maintain and constantly improve an anti-bribery management system, in accordance with international best practices.
“I congratulate the Nuclearelectrica National Society for obtaining this certification. Integrity in business is an important criterion and a company with the strategic role and importance of SNN must respect the best practices in the field. Obtaining the ISO Standard is likely to increase the confidence of SNN’s investors and partners in the company,” said Virgil Popescu, Minister of Economy, Energy and Business Environment.
The General Director of Nuclearelectrica SA, Cosmin Ghiță, added: “SNN condemns corruption in all its forms and we have committed ourselves, through the Code of ethics and conduct in business and by implementing ISO 37001/2016, to use all the legal and behavioral means we have at our disposal. We are constantly committed to promoting an appropriate anti-corruption culture, based on the principle of ‘zero tolerance’.”
