OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy company in Southeast Europe, supplements its contribution with 2 million euros for the modernization of the operating block of the Ploiești County Emergency Hospital. It is the third contribution for this important medical institution and is in addition to sponsorships worth 5 million euros in the last two years. The latest contribution will finance the modernization of the most important operating theatres, for neurosurgery and general surgery. Thus, the entire operating room will be brought up to standards that support interventions of high complexity.

“The Ploiești County Emergency Hospital is an important landmark for the residents of Prahova County, that’s why we decided to supplement our contribution, so that the entire operating block can be modernized. Sponsorship will cover the costs of important medical equipment such as surgical and neurosurgery tables, high-performance anesthesia machines, complete neurosurgery equipment, complete urological surgery equipment, defibrillators, radiology machines, etc. In the last two years, 11 of the hospital’s 13 operating rooms have already been equipped with modern and complete operating lines with the support of OMV Petrom.
