It is a real achievement that we managed to revive the exploitation of hydrocarbons in Gorj County with investment and modern technologies, despite a history of 130 years of oil exploitation.”
The project on Hurezani gas delivery system was completed in 2010. Another project aims Totea Deep deposit, which was identified in 2011 and is one of the most important onshore gas discoveries in recent years in Romania, OMV notes. The project consisted of five deep water wells and building the associated infrastructure.
