Groupe Renault Romania, OMV Petrom and Continental are the best employers in the Romanian economy, according to the “100 Best Employers in the Economy”, made by a media trust.

The Bosch Group and Orange ranked next, and for all five companies, 332,394 employees currently pay taxes and duties to the Romanian state, according to Agerpres.

With regard to both the number of employees and the number of representatives in ”100 Best Employers in the Economy”, industry is the first and the automotive sector is the most important employer.

Also well represented in the top are IT & C, energy, retail and financial-banking.

A number of aspects were taken into account in the ranking: the number of employees, the average net salary level and the benefits to employees.

The Top 10 Best Employers in Romania includes BRD – Groupe Societe Generale, Microsoft, Adobe Systems, Kaufland and Banca Transilvania.
