OMV Petrom achieved in the first quarter of 2023 (Q1) a hydrocarbon production of 116,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day, 4.13% lower than in the same period last year, of 121,300 boe/day, according to the data submitted Wednesday of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The production of crude oil and condensate was of 56,000 boe/day (minus 4%), and that of natural gas was 60,300 boe/day (minus 4.3%).
In the first three months of this year, the total volume of hydrocarbon sales amounted to 111,400 boe/d, being 4.4% lower than in the first quarter of 2022. Crude oil and condensate sales decreased by 4%, to 59,100 boe/day, and those of natural gas decreased by 5%, to 52,300 boe/day, according to Agerpres.
In contrast, total sales of refined products increased by 2.4% to 1.24 million tonnes. Gas sales to third parties amounted to 11.06 TWh (up 3.75%).
The net production of electricity at the Brazi Power Plant totaled 0.97 TWh, down 2.02% compared to the January-March 2022 period.
