The average price of electricity traded on the OPCOM platform was about 265 lei/ MWh (55 euros) between August 2018 and July 2019, according to an institution report.

In the last reported year, the total volume traded was 75 thousand GWh, at a value of almost 20 billion lei.

The number of green certificates sold during the specified period was about 5.23 million, and the average price of a certificate was 136 lei (28.5 euro), for a total value of 710 million lei.

On the natural gas market, the total volume traded during the same period was 11 thousand GWh, at a price of 108 lei per MWh, the transactions cumulating a total value of over 1.2 billion lei.

At the end of July, more than 900 participants were registered on the OPCOM platform.
