The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration is financing 101 new investments, in 68 localities in Romania, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Minister Cseke Attila announced on Wednesday in a press release.
The projects, with a total value of about 696.6 million lei, were submitted within the second round of fundraising for the Renovation Wave and Local Fund components of the PNRR.
Thus, for the Renovation Wave, 35 new projects were approved, with a total value of 375.5 million lei, submitted by 15 local authorities for the refurbishment, modernization and energy efficiency of some public institutions and some multi-family residential buildings, according to Agerpres.
For the Local Fund, 66 new projects were approved, with a total value of 321 million lei, submitted by 53 local authorities, for projects aimed at the refurbishment and energy efficiency of some public institutions, the development of intelligent urban management systems by installing some smart display systems in passenger boarding stations, building nZEB plus housing for young people and providing infrastructure for green transport by placing electric vehicle charging points.
