The united permanent offices of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate decided, on Wednesday, the calendar for the election of four members in the management of the National Energy Regulatory Authority – ANRE, including the president, the joint plenary session being scheduled for April 19.
The president of ANRE, Dumitru Chiriță, informed the leadership of the Parliament that starting from April 23, the positions of president, vice president and two member positions in the Regulatory Committee of the authority are vacant, as a result of the expiration of the mandates, according to Agerpres.
The reunited permanent offices decided that until April 13, the candidacies for these positions should be submitted. Until April 18, the selection and hearing of the candidates will take place in the specialized commissions.
The final decision regarding these functions is to be taken by the joint plenary session of the Parliament which will take place on April 19.
In the meeting of the reunited Permanent Bureaus it was also decided that the candidacies for the ANCOM presidency should be submitted by April 28, with the mandate of the current head expiring on May 11.
