The payments to suppliers that came from the regulatory authority have been paid or are on the payment circuit, because they are checked by the regulatory authority, the Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu, said on Wednesday.
“Absolutely all the payments that have come from the regulator are being paid or are in the payment pipeline because they are being verified by the regulator. We estimate that we will close on the clearing scheme in November, December, January, February, so basically on the compensation scheme, around 2.5 – 3 billion (Ron), below the budget we estimated. All this money practically came from the additional dividend of Hidroelectrica,” said Virgil Popescu, at the end of the Government meeting.
Regarding the settlements for this year, the Minister of Energy emphasized that the requests began to be submitted for April, according to Agerpres.
“Applications have started to be submitted for the month of April. We are waiting to finalize the month of April, which will probably be in the next period, to see the estimate for April – what we estimated – against the reality of April, after which we will make a decision, we will come and we will declare it publicly. The submissions of applications started last week for April, on the platform of the Regulatory Authority, they are verified and then what is verified is sent to us for payment. (…) We will definitely have on the budget rectification a part of the money to make the payments for the following months, from April, May, June,” Virgil Popescu also said.
