OMV Petrom filed on OPCOM two offers for the sale of a total quantity of one million MWh of natural gas, according to Agerpres.
100,000 MWh are proposed for sale at 88 lei/MWh to be delivered in the period between December 1st and December 31st, 2015. For this package, the auction will be held on November 23, 2015. As gas sources, Petrom mentions “10% extracted from the current production kept in underground storage and 90% from the current domestic production.”
The other 900,000 MWh are proposed for sale at a price of 84 lei/MWh, with delivery between January 1st and December 31st, 2016. The auction will take place on November 17th, 2015.
This year, on the gas trading platform of OPCOM was inked only a single transaction, a contract by which GDF Suez Energy Romania has purchased 5,000 MWh of gas at the price of 82 lei/MWh. The auction was held on October 27th, 2015, writes Agerpres.
