The BURSA press group is organizing the IIIrd edition of the “ENERGY PLUGGED-IN” conference, on September 10th, 2015, starting at 9:30, at the headquarters of Electrica SA, the Radu Zane room of 9, Grigore Alexandrescu St., District 1, Bucharest.
The topics proposed for discussion at the event are of great interest and concern: The European Energy Union – the stage of its implementation and Romania’s role in the project; the restructuring of the state-owned energy companies and the lack of investments in production; challenges concerning the persistence of the low consumption of gas and electricity; the evolution of energy companies on the Bucharest Stock Exchange; the listing of Hidroelectrica while in insolvency; the Energy efficiency – the National Action Plan; a year of exchange trading for natural gas– benefits and new challenges; the regional energy exchange – price developments and effects on the domestic market; renewables, where to? the status of the debate on the new taxation system of oil companies.
The event will be attended by the following speakers: Mr. Andrei Gerea, the Minister of Energy, Small and Medium Enterprises and the Business Sector; Mr. Mihai Tudose, Minister of the Economy; Mr. Răzvan Nicolescu, president of the Board of Directors of the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER); Mr. Niculae Havrileţ, the president of the National Authority for the Regulation in the Energy Sector (ANRE); Mr. Bogdan Stănescu, Head of the Companies Department of the Ministry of Energy, Small and Medium Enterprises and the Business Sector; Mr. Emil Calotă, the vice-president of the National Authority for the Regulation of the Energy Market (ANRE); Mr. Victor Ionescu, the Managing Director of the Romanian Gas and Electricity Market Operator (OPCOM); Mr. Gabriel Dumitraşcu, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Company for the Thermal Energy of Bucharest (RADET); Mr. Martin Zmelik, Country Manager and chairman of the Directorate CEZ România (confirmed).
The conference will be attended by approximately 150 participants in the energy sector: producers, suppliers, energy and gas distributors; major consumer companies in every line of business; regulatory authorities; associations and organizations in the sector; consulting and law firms; banks/ financial institutions; mass-media.
