Six projects with a total value of over 460,000 lei were designated winners of the first session of non-reimbursable financing from the local budget for non-profit activities in the field of environmental and animal protection, announced the general mayor of Bucharest (PMB), Nicusor Dan, according to Agerpres.
“We have completed the selection process of the projects submitted during the first session of non-reimbursable financing from the local budget for non-profit activities of local interest in the field of Environmental and Animal Protection, according to the provisions of Law no. 350/2005. (…) The 6 projects are to be implemented by December 15,” Nicusor Dan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
According to him, the six projects are:
* Bees and Wild Pollinators in Bucharest, Active Biodiversity Support, initiated by the Association for the Protection of Bees and Wild Pollinators, with a value of 82,710.75 lei;
* The effects of pollution on health, proposed by the Ecopolis Center for Sustainable Policy Association, with a value of 100,000 lei;
* Eduboost, initiated by the Bigger Digital Education Association, with a value of 72,500 lei;
* Elaboration of a guide regarding the management and adequate technical solutions for the extension of the areas covered with forest vegetation in Bucharest in response to the current environmental challenges, proposed by the Alliance for Forest, with a value of 55,750 lei;
* Environmental Ambassadors, initiated by the “The Institute” Foundation, with a value of 100,000 lei;
* ‘I take care of my city’, proposed by the Grow Up Romania Association, with a value of 52,544 lei.
