The necessary investments in the energy sector, in order to reach the targets assumed by Romania through the National Plan for Energy and Climate Change (PNIESC), amount to 22.6 billion euro, between 2021-2030, according to the data in the document.
Of the 22.6 billion euros, 9.8 billion will be invested in networks, 12 billion in power plants and another 800 million in steam boilers, according to e-nergia.ro.
PNIESC in the revised version was launched for public debate by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment.
It will be forwarded this month to the European Commission.
