Economics Professor Mircea Coşea was elected president of the Supervisory Board of Transelectrica, according to a press release sent to the Stock Exchange.
At the same time, at the meeting on June 4, 2019, the Supervisory Board appointed as interim members of the Executive Board, starting with June 21, 2019, with a mandate of four months: Marius-Dănuţ Carasol, Claudia-Gina Anastase, Andreea -Georgiana Florea, Alina-Elena Teodoru and Adrian Savu.
“The mandate is granted for a period of 4 months starting with 21.06.2019 with the possibility of extension for good reasons for another two months but the term of office will not exceed the date of finalization of the selection procedure of the members of the National Energy Company Electricity “Transelectrica” -SA in the conditions of GEO no. 109/2011, if the procedure will be completed within this interval,” promise the company’s shareholders.
“The Supervisory Board elects as Chairman of the Executive Board, alternately Chief Executive Officer or Chief Executive Officer -” CEO “… Mr. CARAŞOL Marius Dănuţ. The appointment of the above-mentioned Directors will become effective as of the date of signing before the public notary of the declaration of acceptance of the mandate of the Transelectrica National Power Grid Company”.
