A legislative project to amend the electricity law, now in Parliament, provides for the exemption of small prosumers from the obligation to declare and, implicitly, to be taxed for their revenues from the sale of electricity, according to e-nergia.ro.

The provision applies to prosumers with photovoltaic installations up to 27 kW and represents an amendment to the current tax legislation.

Basically, the prosumers will not be obliged to declare in the single declaration the incomes from the sale of electricity, and they will not be taxed, neither from the point of view of the income tax, nor for the contributions to the pension or health funds.
