The session for enrolling legal entities in the Rabla Clasic and Rabla Plus car subsidy programs has been extended until October 30, 2020, inclusive, the Administration of the Environment Fund (AFM) announced.
According to official data, following the approval in the meeting of the Approval Committee on September 28, 2020, 86 more files were accepted for 170 vehicles in the Rabla Clasic program and 103 more files for 154 vehicles were accepted, out of which 119 vehicles purely electric vehicles and 35 hybrid electric vehicles, in the Rabla Plus program, according to Agerpres.
The subsidy program for classic cars for 2020 started on March 17, with a budget of 405 million lei, the largest since the implementation of the program. Authorities estimate there will be 60,000 beneficiaries, the highest number in 15 years.
At the same time, the eco-friendly car program started on March 25, 2020, and those interested can buy a 100% electric or electric plug-in hybrid car. For the first time in its history, the eco program allows the population the purchase of full electric motorcycles.
Since the establishment of the “Rabla” Program, at least 600,000 vehicles have been taken out of use and about 550,000 new vehicles have been purchased, according to statistics from the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests (MMAP).
