The Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests started Rabla Plus program on Wednesday, through the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), and people who want to buy a full electric or electric hybrid plug-in car can contact the validated dealers, The Ministry of Environment announced on Wednesday, according to Agerpres.

At the same time, for the first time, Rabla Plus allows the population the purchase of full electric motorcycles.

This year’s program keeps for the fifth consecutive year the highest premium for the purchase of full electric cars in Europe: about 10,000 euro. Regarding the purchases of hybrid plug-in cars, they are supported by the program with about 4,500 euro, and the full electric motorcycles with over 700 euros, but not more than 50% of the cost of the vehicles.

The representatives of the Ministry of the Environment mentioned that the Rabla Plus program does not coherse the population from disposing of a used car. At the same time, those who want to give up an old, polluting car will also benefit from the cancellation premium established by the Rabla Clasic program, worth 6,500 lei.

Thus, under the simultaneous access of the two programs, the amounts deducted by AFM from the total cost of the vehicles will be: about 11,300 euro for full electric cars, 5,800 euro for hybrid plug-in cars and 1,400 euro for full electric motorcycles – but not more than 50% of the cost of the vehicle.
