The interim Minister of Environment, Tanczos Barna, announced that on Friday the registrations for the people who want to participate in the Scrap program for household appliances will start, this session having a budget of 34 million lei.
The program will run in three stages: the first for washing machines and refrigerators/freezers, the second for televisions, laptops and tablets and the third for air conditioners, tumble dryers and vacuum cleaners.
“We have introduced a much more rigorous condition for the use of vouchers, they are nominal, non-transferable (…) so as to limit and eliminate virtually the traffic or sale of these vouchers after booking,” said Tanczos Barna, according to News.ro.
According to the Administration of the Environment Fund, starting with Friday, November 19, 10.00, the individuals have 7 days to register in the program by creating the user account in the computer application.
“Everyone interested in applying for the program, in any of the stages, must create a user account. This step is very important, because through this account you will be able to select the desired appliances in each of the three stages. if you already have a user account, created in the first edition of this year’s program, you do not have to create another account, but only log in using the e-mail address and password set by you, they can be recovered following the steps described in the computer application,” said the president of AFM, Lóránd-Árpád Fulop.
