Companies and local public authorities have at their disposal 12 financing programs totaling approximately 5 billion euros in the coming months – the most generous period of non-reimbursable financing in the history of our country, according to a REI analysis.
According to REI data, a number of seven financing schemes from the first half of this year are dedicated to newly established companies (start-ups), SMEs, as well as large enterprises, which can apply for non-reimbursable financing for production projects, digitalization, energy efficiency or recycling, with total allocations exceeding 2 billion euros.
On the other hand, the public sector benefits from a number of five support measures for the modernization and digitization of educational units, the improvement of the water and sewage network in localities or investments in increasing the energy efficiency of public buildings, through the installation of photovoltaic panels, with total allocations of about 3 billion euros.
“2023 is the year we start to see the results of the projects submitted in the last two years and it is also the time when we will see the large and very large allocation schemes launched on the market in key areas where European money is vital for development. We expect a huge interest in investment projects in the installation of solutions to increase energy efficiency – where we have more than 1.5 billion euros allocated – for both the public and private sectors, in digitalization – session opening on February 15 or the massive allocations intended for the educational sector or the infrastructure of water and sewerage,” says Roxana Mircea, managing partner, REI Grup.
”The year 2022 has been a fantastic exercise and a test that showed us that we are ready to face the wave of funding in the coming years, and the start of this year finds us more prepared than ever, with a team of professionals and specialists in the field of attracting non-reimbursable funds – both for companies and for public authorities,” added Roxana Mircea.
